KABUL FOR YOU

KABUL FOR YOU is made from video footage taken by my father Thilo Hatzius on a small point-and-shoot camera, while working as German advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Irrigation, Water and Environment in Kabul (2004-2007).
On his return, he handed me an external hard-drive filled with video clips. In this edit, I have used a selection of these recordings to create a personal cinematic interpretation of his experience.
The sound includes skype conversations between the two of us during and after his time in Kabul.
