Research at STUDIO INCITE

With a degree in Fine Art Media (2002) and Photography and Urban Cultures (2005) Britt has since been engaged in various research projects as artist/researcher experimenting with visual/aural ethnographic methods based within Studio INCITE (Critical Inquiry into Technology and Ethnography) in the Sociology Department at Goldsmiths University London. Previous work includes various projects on artists working with new/old technologies with Dr Nina Wakeford.

Britt currently holds a part-time teaching position as senior workshop tutor on the PHD Visual Sociology programme at Goldsmiths. She is engaged in research based at Studio INCITE looking at a community of practitioners working with soon-to-be obsolete technologies and their relationship to the idea of ‘technological progress’.
